What is Natural Product Number (NPN) from Health Canada?
To be authorized with a NPN, a product must be assessed and approved by Health Canada with information that support the safety snd efficacy of a product.
Health claims must be supported by valid, high-quality scientific evidence. Safety and efficacy must also be supported with sufficient evidence. This evidence can include: clinical trial data, medical journal articles, pharmacopoeias and other traditional resources.
